It’s a hive of activity at Santa’s workshop. Christmas is just around the corner, and under Sandra Claus’s strict supervision, the elves have to work day and night. Everything has to be perfect—because only flawless toys are allowed to be given to children. When the porcelain doll Lina is found to have a flaw, she is set aside and ends up in a place no one wants to talk about: a world full of broken, forgotten, and discarded toys. There she encounters unusual characters who have long since stopped believing they’ll ever return. But Lina refuses to accept this fate.

As she makes new friends and learns more and more about the world around her, she tries to find a way to reach Stella, the child for whom she was intended as a Christmas gift. But not all the toys in the “World of Forgotten Dolls” are thrilled by Lina’s idea of returning—especially not the power-hungry and law-abiding Puppets. With plenty of humor, touching moments, and familiar musical numbers reimagined, this youth musical tells an imaginative story about hope, solidarity, and the courage to stand up for what’s right. In doing so, it reminds us that it’s precisely our rough edges and little flaws that make us unique in this world.
