Confident, warm-hearted, and deeply relaxed: The fourth evening of the 2027 Vienna Cabaret Festival is dedicated to aging with humor—and features a true festival regular.

With “Haltbar-MILF,” Lydia Prenner-Kasper takes a step back and looks at the bigger picture: She will, of course, age with dignity, welcome every new wrinkle with a laugh, and embrace every additional year of life wholeheartedly—because one’s own “expiration date” is only the beginning of decay. Until then, she’ll live, laugh, love, and enjoy life. She won’t let her body—which is a work in progress—dictate when the fun stops: Being hot as hell is a choice, and as we all know, the MILF glass is always half full. Next, Herbert Steinböck—a true regular at the Vienna Cabaret Festival—takes the stage. In “Bestens,” he promises to entertain in the best possible way—with a mix of classic, old-school cabaret acts and stand-up, peppered with stories straight from life and the everyday madness, all seasoned with a pinch of poetry.

Herbert Steinböck will also reveal some very personal secrets from his everyday life this evening—such as the fact that he once had a “three-number match” in the lottery, but it was only worth 4.50 euros, and that he, too, is one of those people who turn the batteries in the remote control five times before finally replacing them. Combined with Lydia Prenner-Kaspers’ self-assured celebration of aging, the result is an evening that proves: humor has no expiration date, and the most beautiful stage for it is the Rathausarkaden in the heart of Vienna.
