Jimmy Schlager - Sauleiwand - CasaNova Vienna - 2027

CasaNova Vienna, Wien

Jimmy Schlager writes about what prevents us from being human—and in “sauleiwaund,” he tackles a truly ambitious range of topics: love, life, longing, growing older, the need for recognition, failure, envy, and the joy that remains despite it all. With a sharp eye and an even sharper tongue, Schlager dissects everyday life, navigating the fine line between self-improvement and self-deception. This isn’t high-brow cabaret with a wagging finger, but musical cabaret with a mind of its own and a clear message: direct, uncomfortable, and always with a chuckle at the ready.
“sauleiwaund” is an evening about the beautiful and the hairy sides of being human—bristly in tone, honest at its core. Because those who wallow in it get dirty only out of joy.
