Pia Baresch + Werner Auer - Liebe ist - CasaNova - 2027

CasaNova Vienna, Wien

“Love”—this little word encompasses a universe of emotions: It can be multifaceted,
unpredictable, infinitely beautiful, heartbreaking, euphoric, or
—and above all: wonderfully entertaining!
Actress and singer Pia Baresch and musical theater actor and singer Werner Auer
present, in their first joint stage program, an evening full of love stories and matters of the heart, with charm, wit, and
passion, an evening full of love stories and matters of the heart.
They read and recount excerpts from classic literature, love letters, entertaining
chat logs, and quirky personal ads—weaving these texts together with songs from a
widest variety of genres: from soulful English pop ballads like “You Are So Beautiful,”
swinging classics like “L.O.V.E.,” musical numbers like “Dich kennen heißt dich lieben,” chansons
like Charles Aznavour’s “She/Tu,” Austropop hits like “I mecht so gern,” to Spanish-
classics like Luis Miguel’s “Sabor a mi,” all the way to the German schlager “Ich hab mich
so an dich gewöhnt. They’ll be accompanied by Alexander Blach on piano.
An evening full of emotion, humor, and musical diversity celebrating the most beautiful triviality in the
world—love!
