The Living Room Concert for Her 80th Birthday

Happy Birthday, Wencke Myhre! The charming Norwegian show legend has been performing on stage for more than 70 (!) years. Now she’s coming to Vienna for a special anniversary evening! She has been delighting generations with her music and unique cheerfulness. In an exclusive, intimate living room concert, she’ll showcase special facets of her musical repertoire: favorite songs ranging from Udo Jürgens to Hildegard Knef, jazz standards, catchy tunes by ABBA, and Norwegian folk songs.

Also on the program: “Knallrote Gummiboot,” “Er steht im Tor,” and other hits. Plus, anecdotes from seven decades in show business—and a glimpse behind the scenes of a colorful life.

An evening of pure Wencke Myhre! At the piano: her musical and life partner, Anders Elijas.
