EuroHockey Club Cup 2027 to Unite Women's and Men's Competitions for the First Time – International Elite Sports Event at Sport Arena Wien

From 12 to 14 February 2027, Vienna will become the meeting point of Europe's indoor hockey elite as AHTC Vienna hosts the EuroHockey Club Cup 2027, introducing an innovative new concept. For the first time, the women's and men's competitions will be held together at the same venue.

The tournament will take place at Sport Arena Wien. With its modern and sustainable infrastructure, the venue offers ideal conditions for an international elite sporting event. Hosting both the women's and men's tournaments together not only creates a unique atmosphere and short travel distances, but also ensures shared media coverage and greater public visibility.

Elite Sport Without Boundaries

This joint format represents equality, innovation and modern sports development. Women and men will compete on the same stage and benefit from the same infrastructure, making the EuroHockey Club Cup a shared European hockey highlight. Bringing all matches together at one venue will create a dynamic tournament experience, attract new audiences and further increase the visibility of indoor hockey.

For AHTC, the tournament also marks a special milestone: the club celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2027. The international event will serve as a fitting occasion to honor the club's history while highlighting the development of hockey in Vienna and Austria. Additional side events are planned to bring together the international hockey community, volunteers, young players and clubs.

International Guests, Lasting Impact

The EuroHockey Club Cup aims to welcome international teams, officials and visitors to Vienna while further strengthening the city's profile as a destination for sports and major events. Professional event management, dedicated volunteers, modern infrastructure and Vienna's hockey community provide the foundation for an event with both sporting and social significance.
