Gery Seidl - NIX is NIE - Globe Wien - 2027

GLOBE WIEN - Marx Halle, Wien

The prices. The menus. Gender. The body. And that’s why we do CrossFit—so we don’t be disappointed by our reflection on the way to the patio with the patio heater. The dog is lying right next to it. Looks at you with love and just wants to be a dog. A role model. Everything used to be better. But when exactly was that “back then”? Yesterday? Or was it simply always “back then” as soon as today becomes a struggle? In any case, there was always something going on. But that’s the thing. Does there really always have to be something going on? Does life have to constantly deliver something? Apparently so, because “Nothing Is Never”! Join Gery Seidl—or rather, his stage persona—on a walk through his mind. To the place where seemingly mundane observations become big questions, and where everyday life and madness go hand in hand. Where wit and words live together in a contentious yet loving union.
