Chris Potter is one of jazz’s most influential saxophonists. As a sought-after sideman—working with artists such as Dave Holland, John Scofield, and Pat Metheny—he quickly developed his own style, blending post-bop, experimental jazz, groove-based music, and electronic textures.

Since his debut in October 2002, Chris Potter has performed at the Vienna Konzerthaus on numerous occasions. To kick off “Jazz unplugged,” he will take the stage for the first time with Matt Brewer and Kendrick Scott. With this lineup, the Grammy-nominated saxophonist, composer, and bandleader brings one of the busiest bassists of our time and a true drum legend to his side. The trio presents music that is deeply rooted in tradition and is developed spontaneously with the highest virtuosity yet lightness of touch.
