Monika Ballwein celebrates The Beatles - CasaNova Vienna - Wien - 2027

CasaNova Vienna, Wien

When a fantastic concert highlight becomes a reality, Monika Ballwein takes the stage with her band to celebrate the most beautiful Beatles songs in her very own unique way—A woman interpreting Beatles songs? Is that even possible? You bet it is!

The Austrian singer, songwriter, arranger, vocal coach, and choir director has fulfilled her long-cherished dream of a solo Beatles program, complete with a CD of the same name.

For “Ballwein Celebrates The Beatles,” this passionate musician has tailored a new musical arrangement for her favorite Beatles songs. Through her fresh arrangements and interpretations, the singer—with her exquisite voice—gives the Beatles’ hits a very personal touch.

Monika Ballwein on her project: “I never wanted to just cover the Beatles! The challenge was to carry on the magic of the wonderful Beatles compositions—in my own personal way. I wanted to capture the magic of the Beatles’ songs in lovingly crafted, sometimes jazzy arrangements while also finding a new, unique musical narrative form of my own.

Their stories of love, rebellion, anger, hope, and everyday problems have stayed with me to this day. Carried by humor and compositions that, like the works of Bach and Beethoven, are an integral part of music history, no one can escape the pull of the Beatles’ music.”
