The iconic Viennese band first presented this program in 2018 at the “Vienna Blues Spring”.

The audience's response was overwhelming, and they wanted more.
How did this program actually come about? Thomas & Toni didn’t have to
to put together a unique mix of songs. Blues legends
like Robert Johnson and Elmore James are featured alongside John Lee Hooker and
Muddy Waters. Many of their compositions were later interpreted by other great artists
, such as Elvis, Eric Clapton, the Beatles, and the Stones. Other gems of
blues history, however, remain known or accessible only to purists. MONTI
BETON once again weaves a colorful and representative
over the roots and origins of the blues, naturally accompanied by
background stories and witty remarks.
