Info
Christoph Krutzler, our Netflix star from Southern Burgenland, and Ukrainian musician Andrej Prozorov pay musical tribute to the great and exceptional Austrian artist Helmut Qualtinger.
Premiere: April 12, 2027
Sharp wit and a relentlessly precise observation of society made Helmut Qualtinger one of the defining voices of postwar Austrian discourse. To this day, his texts and characters serve as a dissecting commentary on power, social circles, and morality. In a musically condensed interpretation, Christoph Krutzler and musician Andrej Prozorov reinterpret his work and translate it into a contemporary form of sound and language. An homage that does not preserve Qualtinger’s language as a museum piece, but rather makes it audible anew as a tool for critiquing our times—precise, respectful, and surprisingly relevant today.
Featuring: Christoph Krutzler
Band: Andrej Prozorov, et al.
