Dear people young and old, watch out, the most magical time of the year is upon us again and the wonderful teatro Christmas production "The Christmas Story" is now coming to GLOBE VIENNA.

Let yourself and your family fall under the spell of this unique musical version based on Charles Dickens and experience a thrilling production, revised again this year, which breathes life into the embittered Ebenezer Scrooge and many well-known characters from the Christmas classic. The dancing ghosts whirling in, the poor, warm-hearted family of Laureen, the cheerful niece and employee of Mr. Scrooge, or the notorious ghosts of the three Christmases, they all whisk you away into a magical world in which a life almost lived full of grief is completely reinvented to make room for love, joy and gratitude again.

20 extraordinarily talented professionals, including young people and children (most of them from our own talent factory) as well as adult stage actors such as the thoroughbred musical performer Peter Faerber, will surprise, enchant and enthral on stage. As always, artistic director Norberto Bertassi guarantees to do everything to make the audience's hearts beat faster. This year, too, there will be fantastic costumes by the gifted costume designer Brigitte Huber, great-granddaughter of Gustav Klimt.

teatro is also increasingly making a name for itself as a talent factory. Currently, teatro is delighted that a long-standing teatro member, Moritz Mausser from Baden, has deservedly managed to play a leading role for the first time at Vereinigte Bühnen, playing Falco in the musical "Rock me Amadeus".
The adult Scrooge will be played this year by the promising young Timo Petz, the next exceptional teatro actor to take on this role after Moritz Mausser and Nicolas Vinzenz; the other two are already embarking on great musical careers at the Vereinigte Bühnen, among others. David Mannhart remains in the Christmas story as the Ghost of Christmas Present, a role he has skillfully revived in recent years. He became best known in 2021 as a finalist in the ORF hit show Starmania.
