The #glaubandich concert by Monsterfreunde
Concert series with six concerts
18,000 Monsterfreunde children will perform this year between June 8 and 10, 2026, divided into six concerts.
Together with their families and friends, they will rock Hall D of the Wiener
Stadthalle. The biggest children's concerts in the country will thus meet the biggest stage in the country.
A place where the magic of community can really be felt!
Of course, there will also be a show program based around the groovy songs. However, the stars of the 75-minute concert are the children, who have spent a whole
school year to prepare for this big moment. Unique and an experience for the whole family - guaranteed to give you goosebumps and leave no dry eye in the house.
Who are the Monster Friends?
The Monster Friends are seven small, colorful monsters. They are named like the syllables of the musical scale - DO, RE, MI, FA, SOL, LA and TI - and they love music. Each
monster stands for a tone and a school subject. The monsters of the tones love school and are adventurous. A total of 16 great adventures have been specially developed for school lessons. They provide lots of
fun in the classrooms. The highlight for the children every year are the final children's choir concerts.
The Monster Friends, developed by choir teacher Michael Wagenthaler, have been an integral part of school lessons in Vienna since 2015. Thanks to the
integrative orientation of the music education project, a 100% social mix is achieved with a common goal: to make children strong!
More than one in three Viennese primary school children attends a Monster Friends class.
