Info

HAEVN is a Dutch music project known for its atmospheric sound that blends indie pop, neoclassical, and electronic elements. At the heart of the project are singer-songwriter Marijn van der Meer and composer and producer Jorrit Kleijnen, who blend their diverse musical backgrounds into a distinctive style. The combination of emotional vocals, cinematic arrangements, and modern production has made HAEVN a staple in the European indie and alternative scenes.

HAEVN’s music is characterized by a unique balance of intimacy and expansiveness. Piano melodies, string textures, and electronic soundscapes form the framework for songs that convey personal themes and emotional stories. From this, the band develops a sound that is suited both for focused listening and for grand concert moments. Characteristic features include the quiet dynamics, the cinematic atmosphere, and the carefully crafted arrangements.

HAEVN garnered international attention early on with their first releases, which reached a wide audience and laid the foundation for a steadily growing fan base. Their debut album “Eyes Closed” and subsequent releases established the band’s reputation far beyond the Netherlands. HAEVN has now amassed more than half a billion streams and is regularly compared to artists who blend pop music with orchestral and cinematic influences.

HAEVN has also made a name for itself as a live act. The band’s concerts thrive on dramatic crescendos that range from stripped-down, intimate moments to powerful soundscapes. This approach creates a special connection with the audience and leaves a lasting impression on the live experience. Festival appearances, sold-out concert halls, and international tours underscore the band’s significance within the European music scene.

With the album *Symphonic Tales II*, HAEVN expands their artistic approach to include an even more pronounced orchestral dimension. The combination of symphonic arrangements, a cinematic atmosphere, and the band’s signature songs opens up new perspectives on their existing repertoire. As a result, HAEVN remains a defining example of the fusion of modern pop music, classical sound aesthetics, and emotional storytelling.
